Baptist General Convention of Missouri

Missions Mobilization

From their inception, Baptists have always been a mission-minded denomination, taking very seriously the Great Commission with its challenge to take the gospel to the ends of the earth and make disciples among all nations. The BGCM shares that historic Baptist dedication to missions and we are committed to helping churches do their part in faithfully obeying Christ’s command. The BGCM stands ready to assist churches to engage in mission outreach by providing the following resources: missions education materials; channels for giving to missions cause; networks for engaging in direct, hands-on mission projects; and training to prepare churches and members for cross-cultural mission experiences. It is our goal to serve the Baptist churches in Missouri by enabling them to become Great Commission churches with a passion to see a lost world introduced to the life-changing message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Go Ye Therefore Volunteers is a ministry of the BGCM that provides networking opportunities with a broad range of mission partners. By exploring the myriad of opportunities you can find just the right one for you or your church. The needs listed will be updated as changes occur, but may be limited due to dates, group size, or other factors.

If interested in serving, please fill out the volunteer form. The BGCM Mission Resource Center will then contact you to discuss various mission opportunities and get you connected and ready to go. We pledge to continue to pray for you as you plan and go. Please contact us if you have any questions. May God bless you and your ministry.
